Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Amber and Steve’s wedding at Old Essex Barn in Kelvedon. Amber is a qualified makeup artist, while Steve is a fellow professional wedding and portrait photographer.
This was a brilliant wedding for a fantastic couple.
Amber and Steve, please tell us a little about yourselves
We met at the Rivenhall Wedding Fair, where we were both exhibiting, and we got engaged two years later. Steve proposed to me after a year on Christmas Eve.
What style was your wedding dress, and who was it by?
Tight corset and puffy skirt with long train it was by Nadia
How would you describe the spirit of your day?
It was relaxed, happy and very magical.
How did you decide on your wedding venue and where you had your reception?
Amber attended the church since she was five years old, and with Old Essex Barn, we just knew when we saw it.
What was the best moment(s) of your wedding day?
It has to be the wedding ceremony and seeing Amber walk down the aisle
What was the title of the song for your first dance? Why did you choose that particular song?
Yours by Ella Henderson, and we chose it because of the words
What tips would you give to other couples when planning their wedding day?
Enjoy every moment, take your surroundings in on the day and embrace your love.
