Wedding Photography Crondon Park
Wedding venues are very much an important aspect of a wedding. No two wedding venues are the same; neither do they have the same atmosphere. Which is why being a wedding photographer is a really great job.
Every now and again I get the opportunity to photograph a wedding at a venue I have never been to before and it seems that as soon as I get to photograph there once, more wedding bookings come in for that venue. Crondon Park in Essex, a converted oak beamed barn, is an example of this.
As no two weddings are at the same and therefore each wedding that I photograph is done so in a unique way. This can be down to a number of different reasons; the choice of lighting, the choice of lenses or the composition of the photographs themselves, and of course the different personalities of the bride and groom, which are conveyed in the images.
On the day of Annalisa and Nicolas’s wedding I started the day with the bride at her parent’s home. Naturally – there was lots of excitement when I arrived and the bride and bridesmaids were busy having their hair and make-up done. Annalisa looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress and she has such captivating eyes, which made it even more a pleasure to photograph her.
After the bridal preparations, I made my way to meet Nicolas at Crondon Park where he was with his Best Woman, Sarah. Although this is not the most common, it definitely added uniqueness to the day. Which are what all weddings are. Unique.
After a romantic ceremony, the wedding sealed with a kiss and the signing of the register everyone made their way for the champagne reception and to ready themselves for the photographs. Although a little bit wet at times this definitely did not dampen the spirits of the bride and groom or any of their guests.
With their wedding breakfast eaten, the speeches done, and the toasting complete it was then time to take photographs of Annalisa and Nicholas together. The rain clouds had disappeared and the evening sun was shining. This allowed me to make the most of the beautiful light which is also known as the ‘Golden Hour’ and to really capture the beauty of the couple and their surroundings at Crondon Park.
I’m really looking forward to photographing more weddings at this venue, as I really like the personal and intimate feel you get from it.
