Maidens Barn Spring Wedding
This was a wonderful Maidens Barn Spring wedding for Rachel and Mitch. Brilliant couple, glorious weather and a beautiful barn venue
My day began with Rachael, who was getting ready in a boutique B&B in Great Dunmow. On arrival, I went upstairs to find everyone. I knew that I was in the right room for there stood a gorgeous bridal gown and three bridesmaid’s dresses.
This was no mad rush to the finish line. With nearly an hour to go, all the prep was complete. This allowed me to get plenty of photographs of the bride, her bridesmaids and her parents, who were all very excited for the day ahead.
Wedding Ceremony at St Mary’s Church
When I arrive at St Mary’s church in High Easter, Mitch was already inside with his two best men, while the other groomsmen greeted and ushered the guests to their seats. With Rachel and her father at the church, it was time for the wedding ceremony. The spirit of the wedding ceremony was uplifting and fitting of such a wonderful occasion. Once the ceremony was complete, it was time for the happy couple to lead their guests outside, before heading off to Maidens Barn.

The weather was superb which afforded me the chance to photograph the couple before and after the wedding breakfast. This gave them so much valuable time with their guests at exactly the time that they wanted it.
After the wedding breakfast, it was time for the speeches. The two best men, who had set up a projector to help them deliver their speech and give Mitch a bit of a ribbing with some old photographs they had of him.
Once I completed the final couple photographs there was plenty of time to relax and take in the spring evening, before the couple made their way for their first dance.
