Fanhams Hall Christmas Wedding Photography
I love a Christmas-time wedding. The roaring fires, the seasonal decorations, the rich colours and the mulled wine are just a few of my favourites, and this wedding at Fanhams Hall in Hertfordshire had all of that, plus more.
Lindsay and her bridesmaids were in great spirits when I went up to see them. The chief bridesmaid had done a brilliant job of having clothing, shoes, etc., all nicely laid out to make it easier for everyone to get ready and for me to photograph. There was lots of giggles and excitement, along with lots and lots of selfies being taken.
When I met Adrian and his groomsmen, everything was all calm and collected, as I would have expected from them. Adrian was sporting a fabulous wristwatch, and he was looking very sharp in his attire.
Fanhams Hall was looking fabulous with the decor and wedding details that Lindsay and Adrian had chosen.
The Gardens on Fanhams Hall
Despite it being a very chilly December afternoon, this wasn’t going to stop Adrian and Lindsay from walking around the fantastic grounds so that we could get some photographs. Fanhams is one of those unique venues where everywhere you turn, there is something special. Beautiful bridges, a Japanese style folly, outstanding landscaping and great architecture.
With the speeches complete, it was time to welcome the evening guests. Lindsay and Adrian cut their wedding cake and then took to the floor for their first dance. Everyone then danced the night away to the sounds of the live band.
Lindsay and Adrian, it was an absolute pleasure photographing your wedding. It was a fabulous day, and I loved being part of it. I wish you both a wonderful life together.
Below is a selection of photographs from their day.
