Wedding Photography at Crondon Park
Back in the summer, I had the great pleasure of photographing Chloe and David’s wedding at Crondon Park in Essex.
The day started with the bride and groom getting ready at the Ivy Hill Hotel with the bridal party. With everyone ready, it was onto Crondon Park for the ceremony and the rest of the day’s celebrations. It was a wonderful day with the couple, their family and all the guests having a brilliant time.
Below, Chloe shares some great information with us, including how they met, why they chose certain aspects of their wedding, and advice to other couples about their big day.
Would you please tell us a little about yourselves?
David & I met during sixth form college although we later realised that we had met before when we found a photograph of us both at the same nursery! He surprised me with a trip to Rome after nine years together and romantically proposed during our visit.
What style was your wedding dress, and who was it by?
My wedding dress was by Sophia Tolli. It was a fitted lace dress with a train. I loved its intricate beading and low back design.
What flowers did you choose for your bouquets?
The bouquets had freesias, roses and lisianthus flowers. They were a mix of white and purple flowers.
What was the title of the song for your first dance? Why did you choose that particular song?
It took us a while to decide on a song, but we both like Ed Sheeran’s music, so we chose ‘Tenerife Sea’ for our first dance.
What was the best moment of your wedding day?
The best moment of our day was dancing and celebrating with all of our guests in the evening.
Where did you go, for your honeymoon? What made you choose that place
We wanted our honeymoon to be somewhere extra special. We chose to visit the Maldives after seeing beautiful photos of the islands and beaches. We were not disappointed and had an amazing, time.
What tips would you give to other couples when planning their wedding day?
Enjoy the planning and lead-up to the big day and try not to stress on minor details that will not matter on your wedding day.
