Wedding of Lucy and Billy at Maidens Barn Essex

I wouldn’t even know where to start if you were to ask me what my favourite parts of this wedding were. From the wedding cars, the bride’s unique shoes, the vintage style flowers, all the personal features that decorated the venue, the great fun I had photographing the couple and of course the venue itself.

I could sense the excitement as soon as I arrived at the bride’s house. Lucy and all her bridesmaids we busy getting ready and having plenty of laughs at the same time and it was easy to see just how close the group of girls are.

Spring wedding Maidens Barn: Billy was playing it cool when I arrived at Maidens Barn and looked very dapper indeed. A quick few photographs of him with his groomsmen and it was time to take positions ready for the bride to arrive.

The father of the bride was clearly proud as punch walking his daughter down the aisle and seeing Billy’s eyes light up as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time was a very special moment. With the ceremony sealed with a kiss, all the guests joined the wedding party for drinks and canapés while I started taking the family group photographs.

Following the wedding breakfast and speeches, it was time to photograph the couple together. With the rapeseed field in full colour we were drawn to it and take some fun and memorable photographs.

With the evening guests arriving everything was then ready for the couple to take to the floor for their first dance.

Congratulation Lucy and Billy, I wish you both a wonderful life together.
