Sam & Steve’s Maidens Barn Summer Wedding
Sam and Steve had a beautiful summer wedding at the gorgeous Maidens Barn in Essex. The weather was glorious, with Sam beaming throughout the day.
As a recommended Essex Wedding Photographer to Maidens Barn, I have had the privilege of capturing the day for many couples at this venue, and I was really looking forward to this one.
Bridal Prep at Maidens Barn
Sam and her bridesmaids all got ready at Maidens Barn, and there was such a fun and happy vibe. This gave me time to go around photographing all of the details and Sam’s gorgeous dress. It was then time to photograph the moment Sam’s dad saw her looking absolutely stunning and all ready to walk down the aisle.
The Wedding Ceremony
There were gasps from guests as Sam entered and walked towards Steve, who was waiting for her. Then, with the ceremony complete and the register signed, the happy couple and their guests made their way outside for photographs and the drinks reception.
Wedding Breakfast & Speeches
All the guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast as the best man introduced the new Mr and Mrs The speeches were brilliant – both heartfelt and funny in all the right places.
Evening Time
As the evening guests arrived, I got more time with the couple to get some evening photographs. Maidens Barn offers so many photo opportunities and is one of my favourite wedding venues. I loved their wedding cake of iced ring doughnuts. I never got to try one, but they did look delicious.
It was then 0nto the dance floor for the couple to perform their first dance, followed by the guests all invited onto the dancefloor.
