Emma and Tom’s Friern Manor Winter Wedding
I was back at the wonderful Friern Manor for Emma and Tom’s wedding. An early winter wedding is a wonderful occasion. As well as the golden colours still lingering from autumn, couples choose a cosier setting for their wedding.
Before the wedding ceremony even started, Emma and the girls were at a nearby hotel getting themselves ready. The bridal prep room was looking fabulous and there was lots of excitement. Emma decided to get ready by herself so that when she came out of the room, her mum and bridesmaids could see her for the first time all together.
Once ready Emma made her way to Friern Manor in a white London Taxi, which I thought was a lovely touch. At the venue, there were some finishing touches to do before the ceremony.
As Emma walked down the aisle with her mum you could see the beaming smile on Tom’s face as she got closer and closer. With the ceremony concluded and the register signed, it was time to get on with the rest of the day’s celebration.
Photographs
This started with the drinks reception and the family and group photographs. I spent about 20 minutes or so getting photographs of Emma and Tom together before it was time for the wedding breakfast.
Evening
When the evening guests arrived it was time to cut the cake before the happy couple made their way to the dance floor for their first dance.
Emma and Tom, thank you very much for booking me as your wedding photographer, it was an honour to capture your day for you. I wish you both a wonderful life together.
