Emma and Tom’s Friern Manor Winter Wedding
I was back at the wonderful Friern Manor for Emma and Tom’s winter wedding. An early winter wedding is a beautiful occasion – As well as the golden colours still lingering from autumn; couples tend to choose a cosier setting for their big day.
Before the wedding ceremony even started, Emma and the girls were at a nearby hotel, getting themselves ready. The bridal prep room looked fabulous, and there was lots of excitement. Emma got prepared by herself, so mum and bridesmaids saw her for the first time together.
If you know someone getting married and looking for wedding photographers in Essex, I’d love to hear from them.
Once ready, Emma made her way to Friern Manor in a white London Taxi, which I thought was a lovely touch. At the venue, there were some finishing touches to do before the ceremony.
As Emma walked down the aisle with her mum, you could see the beaming smile on Tom’s face as she got closer and closer. With the ceremony concluded and the register signed, it was time to get on with the rest of the day’s celebration.
Photographs
This started with the drinks reception and the family and group photographs. I spent about 20 minutes or so getting photographs of Emma and Tom together before it was time for the wedding breakfast.
Evening
When the evening guests arrived, it was time to cut the cake before the happy couple made their way to the dance floor for their first dance.
Emma and Tom, thank you very much for booking me as your wedding photographer, it was an honour to capture your day for you. I wish you both a wonderful life together.
