Channels Wedding Photography

What a scorcher! It must have been one of the hottest days of the year. I’m glad I drank plenty of water in the car before heading off to meet Kate and Rob and photograph their wedding at Channels Estate. 

I’d had the pleasure of first meeting Rob and Kate a couple of years ago when I had photographed Rob’s brother’s wedding and also then a few times in between for their friend’s as well.

Photography at Channels Estate

I started the morning photographing Katie, who was in the bridal suite getting ready with her bridesmaids. As I walked into the room, her stunning dress was hanging up, ready for her to get prepared for her groom.

As Kate entered All Saints Church in Springfield, there were gasps from the guests as she looked radiant. Once Rob and Katie happy couple were pronounced husband and wife and became Mr and Mrs Given. After the ceremony, we all headed back to Channels.

Following the wedding breakfast and the speeches, I took the couple off for some beautiful shots together, making the most of the evening sun and the gardens. My favourite photos were where the sun is getting low, and it is behind them. Afterwards, we made our way back to join the guests and for the cutting of the cake. After the first dance, everybody was in the party mood, and I just knew everyone would have a fantastic night ahead.
