RUNNYMEDE HOTEL Wedding Photography

The weather was ideal as I drove to Surrey to photograph the wedding of Natalie and Daniel.

Natalie’s family live next door to the house that I grew up in as a boy, and so it was extra special going back there to photograph Natalie, her sisters and her parents all getting ready.

The house was full of excitement, and once everyone was ready, it was time to make our way to the Runnymede on Thames Hotel for the wedding ceremony. The car that Natalie was travelling in was an outstanding replica vintage car.

Dan, the groom, was overcome with emotion as his bride approached, and there were lovely moments of affection as the couple exchanged their vows. Their son Owen was the ring bearer and did a smashing job.

Wedding Reception

I loved all the speeches. The best man, who was a great character, was overwhelmed by the occasion, but with the encouragement of all the guests and a little help from Karen, the bride’s mum, he made his way through his speech.

As the evening guests arrived, everyone made their way back to the reception room for the cake cutting and the first dance. It was a brilliant wedding for so many reasons. The fun, the venue, seeing some old school friends and the love shared by the young couple.
