I recently had the pleasure of photographing Danielle and Michael’s Down Hall winter wedding.

Bridal Prep at Down Hall

It was a beautiful, boutique wedding with all their nearest and dearest family and friends. I arrived at Down Hall, where the bridal preparations were taking place. All of the young bridesmaids were very excited to get their hair, makeup and nails done. Meanwhile, Danielle was extremely calm in her private room.

Groom Prep Photography

I caught up with Michael downstairs, spending time with some of the guests before the ceremony started. I also took the opportunity to view and photograph the ceremony room and wedding breakfast room.

 Ceremony

With the bridesmaids and pageboy leading the way, Danielle’s father proudly walked her down the aisle. There was a brief panic when it appeared that the rings had been left upstairs, but they were quickly found. 

After the ceremony, we made the most of the mild weather and made our way outside for some group photographs. My assistant, James, did all the formal family photographs, allowing me the freedom to do some documentary wedding photography. 

The Wedding Breakfast

Back inside, I took advantage of getting some personal photographs of the couple as we wandered around the house. Down Hall provides plenty of photo opportunities both inside the house and outside. The guests made their way to the wedding breakfast room, ready to greet the newly married Mr. & Mrs.
