Saffron Walden and Thaxted Wedding Photography
As one of only four weddings photographed during the COVID restrictions, it was terrific that Schira and Nabil could go ahead with theirs.
They proved that having a smaller wedding than initially planned doesn’t have to make your day less memorable. The personal settings, their nearest and dearest in attendance and the intermate ceremony made their day extra special.
Are you planning an intermate wedding and looking for an Essex Wedding Photographer for your special day? If so, I’d love to photograph your wedding day for you. Please reach out for full details via my contact page.
Thaxted Wedding Photography: Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Town Hall in Saffron Walden. The reception was held opposite the Guild Hall in Thaxted, situated in the valley of the River Chelmer.

Here are just a few photographs from their fabulous day.
About Saffron Walden Town Hall
The Town Hall is situated on the south side of Market Square. It was first built in 1761 and extensively remodelled and extended in 1879.
The hall owes its existence to the munificence of George Stacey Gibson, a local businessman and Mayor of Saffron Walden from 1875 – 1877. At the end of his term as Mayor, he gave the town the necessary money to rebuild the hall. A portrait of Gibson is still on display in the Assembly Room. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the Council has carried out extensive repair and modernization works to the building.
