Alice and Jack’s Fabulous Mini Wedding at Maidens Barn
While this wedding was mini in size, it was most definitely large in spirit.
While the original dream wedding for Alice and Jack may well have been a big, bold affair involving lots of guests, suppliers and razzamatazz, however, I would say this intimate wedding was perfect. The day’s focus was on the most important thing about the wedding – two people, in love, choosing to form a life-long, binding union.
The bride got ready at her parent’s house, the home where she grew up. And when the bedroom rivals an expensive hotel, why choose anywhere else.
As an Essex Wedding Photographer, I love the variety of churches in this wonderful county. But, for Alice and Jack, this church also had lots of family history.
There was something special about seeing only their closest friends and family present with them in the church. Other friends came together outside to listen to Alice and Jack exchange their vows and say their ‘I Dos.” As a special surprise, a pop-up bar was set up outside the church when the couple came out
Maidens Barn Mini Wedding Reception
Following the ceremony, we made the short journey to Maidens Barn. Although unable to dine inside the barn, there was a marquee, creating a cosy and intimate setting for everyone. Following the couple’s first dance, everyone enjoyed an evening of music, fun and drinks in the courtyard.
