This was my first visit 0f the year to provide Blake Hall wedding photography. When arriving at a venue, I look around to see if any features have changed since I was last there. I love Blake Hall because it seems to get better every time I get to photograph a wedding. When you arrive, it’s easy to see why couples fall in love with this place.

Bridal Prep

I caught up with Nicola and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal prep cottage. Nicola was extraordinarily calm and taking everything in her stride. You can say the same for Scott too, who was getting ready upstairs in the main barn.

If you like the idea of a barn wedding, then you’ll love the barn used for the wedding ceremony. The exposed beams look lovely and help provide a rustic atmosphere, which is why I love providing Blake Hall wedding photography.

It was time to get a few family photographs before taking away the happy couple for their pictures following the ceremony. Blake Hall provides lots of opportunities to get amazing photos. Nicola and Scott were great fun to work with, and I loved the ideas I came up with. 

The wedding speeches were hilarious and had everyone laughing, and it was great to capture the expressions of Nicola and Scott. 

When the evening guests arrived, it was time to cut the cake, followed by their first dance.
